Click Through Rate, or CTR, shows how often shoppers click your ad after seeing it. It’s one of the clearest signals of whether your product is grabbing attention in search results. On Amazon, people decide fast, so your main image, title, price, reviews, and placement all influence whether they stop scrolling.

A low CTR often means the targeting is off or the listing is not compelling enough compared to nearby competitors. A high CTR usually suggests your product is showing up in the right places and giving shoppers a reason to look closer.

  • Use CTR when you want to judge how attractive and relevant your ad looks before the shopper visits the listing.
  • It’s calculated by dividing clicks by impressions, then expressing that number as a percentage.
  • If impressions are high but clicks stay low, the issue may be your image, title, reviews, price, or targeting.
  • Improve CTR by refining keywords, strengthening your main image, and making sure your offer looks competitive at first glance.
